Gardening club
The AUMC Garden Club seeks to enhance the beauty of the Antioch area with colorful flowers and landscaping. The Garden Club is open to anyone in the Antioch area who would like to improve the areas appearance. You do not have to be a professional in the gardening/landscaping fields but simply have a willingness to learn with a desire to help.
The club meets monthly on Saturday morning. The date is determined by the weather. During the winter months when work outside is not possible we have guest speakers who are Master Gardeners or Master Landscapers or others who are specialist in the Gardening areas.
The AUMC is a member of the National Federation of Garden Clubs and the Tennessee Federation of Garden Clubs. The AUMC Garden Club is the only club in the State of Tennessee to have it's own greenhouse! The 50 foot commercial greenhouse is located at the Antioch Middle School.
We are always looking for new folks to join us and share their ideas/thoughts on beautifying the areas.

- Redesign and replant of the Church Prayer Garden.
- Planted 500 Daffodil bulbs in the church landscaping
- Helped the AUMC After School program plant their own flower space.
